Hello! I thought I'd show you all my foundation stash and share with you when I tend to wear and how I apply each one. Hope this is helpful to foundation obsessives like myself ;)

I'd love to know what YOUR favourite foundation is in the comments section below.

Revlon Photoready foundation 004Nude

Let's get started with REVLON's PhotoReady *  £12.99/30ml - my shade is 004 Nude.

I've been using this more and more in the past few months, reaching for it when I want  medium coverage and fuss-free application. I have used my fingers to blend over moisturised skin and this works just fine but patting on with a dampened Beauty Blender sponge leaves a lovely even finish.

CHANEL Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation SPF15

Next up is the CHANEL Vitalumiere Aqua foundation * £32.00/30ml - my shade B20

Now I'll be honest.. I was completely underwhelmed when I first got my hands on this much hyped product. I'm not sure if I was expecting some kind of miracle but once I planted my feet firmly back on the ground I found that on those rare 'good skin' days this provides lovely light, natural coverage which allows your skin to show through. I dab on a few blobs around my face and blend with my fingers or pat on with my Real Techniques stippling brush.

REVLON Colorstay Foundation 180 Sand Beige

For days when my skin is seriously misbehaving and needs heavy coverage or for those when I would like a flawless matte base I absolutely love REVLON's Colorstay foundation * £12.49/30ml - my shade 180 sand beige. I find this formula can dry and set very quickly so always pour some onto the back of my hand and apply with a moistened Beauty Blender sponge in small sections, starting from the middle of my face outwards.

RIMMEL Wake Me Up Foundation SPF15

This post has got me rambling on rather longer than I'd thought so I will finish with

RIMMEL's Wake Me Up foundation *£8.99/30ml -my shade : true ivory.

The most budget friendly of my picks, this light, easily blended formula is a great light/medium coverage base which leaves you with a really luminous, dewy complexion. My skin always feels moisturised and smooth when I use this but I DO need to powder my t-zone to avoid looking overly shiny by the end of the day.
